The second National Deaf People of Color conference occurred from June 25 through 27, 2010, in Portland, Oregon. This exciting event featured workshops, presentations, and a banquet gala (with entertainment). The first ever Deaf Youth of Color camp took place on June 13-23, 2010 at Camp Taloali, in Stayton, Oregon. This camp is the first of its kind, focusing on issues relating to 48 high school aged deaf and hard of hearing youths of all ethnic/racial backgrounds: African-American, Latino, Asian, and (Native) American Indian, bi-racial, multi-racial. The campers also participated in the NDPCC workshops and events.
